Its been 11 years. Since amma indulged me in my very own Harry Potter book series Box :)
Over the past few days I've delved back into this box and kept revising the entire series. Even watched all the movies on Amazon Prime.
Only to start over and read the books from start. :D Foolish you may say! But this series helps me to escape the mundane daily routine and the toxic people in the real world, atleast mine :)
The one character I've come to love in the entire series is Severus Snape. Yes. Whether in the book or on screen as was ably portrayed by Alan Rickman, Snape has grown on me like nothing else.
Snape, always a loner, yearning for love - never received it. Kept it all inside while maintaining a sour expressionless demeanor. I mean, who would love to be him? Taking it upon himself to protect the son of Lily Evans who he dearly loved!
God help me. I can totally identify with his character. The only difference being, I have a son- my own.
May this world see a lot more Snapes. Yeah we could do with more of his kind.
To the half-blood Prince! May you always continue to live in my heart. <3
